By investing in the Empire Throwing Club, you support something much greater than a group of hooligans throwing rocks in a field. We are a growing community of athletes and organizers dedicated to preserving our heritage. Each of us is drawn to the highland games for different reasons. Whether to celebrate the ancient traditions of strength and competitive spirit, build community, or spread knowledge and love for our heritage.
Participation in the highland games is growing globally, and so are we. As our membership and following grow, our events and activities expand with them. Through our competitions and training workshops we have seen dozens of new athletes take the field to discover the highland games for themselves in just a couple short years. We have also seen crowds of hundreds turn out to watch, cheer, and celebrate these ancient games with us.
We must continue to feed and water our events to see them grow. Hosting highland games competitions incurs costs, and through our early successes we have realized a need to partner with local commercial and industry partners to ensure a strong future. By supporting us, you become part of the Capital District's highland strength community!

See your logo proudly displayed on competitor's shirts, as well as our website main page and social media posts. Your business will be thanked and acknowledge at our competitions over the loudspeaker. We will gladly distribute promotional material for you at our table and in athlete registration bags, and if that wasn't enough, you get a complementary registration to one of our events to use or give to a friend.
In addition to the benefits of the Bronze package, Silver level sponsors may have their logo or business name displayed on a competition caber or the standards (see below). They will have special signage displayed on the field, and dedicated social media posts for thanks and acknowledgement. Silver level sponsors also get an additional complimentary event registration.
You get the Bronze package. You get the Silver package. But you also get your logo featured with premier placement on event tshirts as well as social media posts and the website. At the highland games you will often see a special, extra event- A challenge event! This could be an extra heavy stone or caber, or something a little more unique, and as a Gold Tier sponsor you could own such an event! You will be provided with a VIP tent alongside ours at competitions, where you can spectate, host guests, or cross-promote your business and get a front-row seat for the action. Enjoy some E.T.C. swag, as well as 3 complimentary registrations to 2025 E.T.C. events.
